Parts Picker

How to use this

  1. Pick a catalog. Use the Catalog dropdown at the top. Catalogs come from Parts Procurement in Google Drive, grouped by maker.
  2. Find the part. Scroll the pages like any PDF, type a page number, or search in Find in open catalogs on the left — that searches every catalog you have open.
  3. Click the part number. Every part number on the page is highlighted. Click one and a box asks for the quantity — it starts at the amount the catalog says the engine uses.
  4. Fill in the boat. Top right: boat name, make, engine model, serial, tranch, pull site. Make and engine model fill themselves in from the catalog.
  5. Part not in a catalog? Click + Add line under the ticket and type the number, description, quantity and price by hand.
  6. Save it. Save to Drive creates a sheet named after the boat in Parts Procurement, laid out like your parts ordering template. Clicking again updates that same sheet; Save as a new sheet starts a fresh one.
  7. Backups. Download Excel saves the file to your computer. Copy rows puts the lines on the clipboard to paste into a sheet or Shopmonkey.
